If the Club is called, Boys and Girls Club of Jackson-Madison County, are all of the locations in Jackson and Madison County?
No. Although the Club was founded in Jackson, TN in Madison County, the organization has grown to include a site in Brownsville, TN in Haywood County. How many locations are there?
Five. There are four in Jackson, TN and one in Brownsville, TN.
What are the ages of the children you serve?
Ages 6-18
Are you a daycare or childcare facility?
We are not a "daycare" or "childcare" facility. We are a curriculum program-based after school and summer program. We provide a safe and positive place for children while they are in our care.
What types of programs are offered?
We offer programs in the areas of education, character and leadership development, technology, health and fitness, the arts, and other specialized programs.
What are some examples of specific programs?
SMART Moves- Gang, alcohol, drug prevention program
Careerlaunch - Career-readiness program
Triple Play - Mind, body, and soul health fitness program
Being the Best - Abstinence program
Cavity-Free Zone - Dental health program
Money Matters - Financial literacy program
Do you offer scholarships?
Yes. There is a scholarship form that should be completed by parents. Scholarships are based on need.
