Formula For Impact

How many of us love a hot fresh baked chocolate chip cookie? Now that your mouth is watering, what we know is that before we can enjoy those delicious cookies they must be made with certain ingredients and a recipe be followed, or rather a formula. By themselves the flour, eggs, sugar, chocolate chips and other stuff is not good alone (except for maybe the chocolate chips!), but when they are all combined a change happens. When the recipe is followed, and the ingredients are added in the correct way, the result becomes what we intended.  

Similarly, in Boys & Girls Clubs, we follow a proven recipe that has guided our organization for many years – it is called the Formula For Impact. Our essential ingredient is our young people who need us most. Our formula begins with them at the center followed by those vital components they need to rise to reach their full potential.
